Berserk

What happens when there's no-one around to tell you when to stop?

When fifteen year old Chas finds a website asking people to write to prisoners on Death Row, he thinks it would be funny to get letters from a murderer. He writes to an inmate, pretending to be his mum. When his new pen-pal is unexpectedly released, Chas' already problematic life spirals horribly out of control...

Chas is the younger brother of Stephen, the hero of Ally's debut novel Beast.
"Written with a verve and confidence that never lets up"... "This excellent novel well deserves the large audience it should get." Nicholas Tucker, The Independent

Hi,

WOW! Just finished 'Berserk,' haha... lovely ending,
D ILLGETREVENGE Y

Poor lenny, he sounded really nice at the start. Anyway, good ending.

I have to admit though, I didn't like this as much as 'BEAST,' the difference is that Beast is full of 'on the edge of your seat' moments, but for Berserk, it's only the ending that made me really excited! :D

I will try to buy your latest book, now that I finished this one.

Hi lee, thanks for posting. I have thought about writing Selby's story. It would be a challenge because it has a very sad ending. I know he has a story to tell...He has been pestering me, over the years, like a ghost.
I seem to like writing dar thrillers, but try to imbue my books with some humour and hope..
So to start a book, knowing that my protagonist is going to die young would be HARD, but maybe it could be done....

so dose tht mean that u will give it a try?

Lee, I am thinking about my next teen book, and this (selby's story) is in the mix, but I may well end up writing about cattle rustlers instead!

Hey Anonymous, I'm delighted you liked BERSERK. I have already written several more books in a similar style.
Beast is about Chas from Berserk's brother, Stephen.
Bedlam is Lexi's story.

Quarry is not connected to the 'B' books, but is a dark teen thriller.

Bullet Boys is a thriller set on Dartmoor.

Happy reading!
